Looking for a way to save money and save the environment this semester? Invest in CFLs – Compact Fluorescent Lamps.
- Write down the wattage rating of all the light bulbs in your apartment.
- Go to the local Wal-Mart or hardware store and buy enough CFLs to replace all of these bulbs.
- Take out and save all of the old bulbs in your apartment, and replace them with your new CFLs.
When it’s time to move out in August, replace the original bulbs and take your CFLs to the next apartment. They will last much longer than normal light bulbs, which means you will be saving money in two ways – you won’t have to buy light bulbs as often, and your power bill will be lower.
