For those of you who want to do the work yourself, you’re going to have many decisions to make. Your first option seems to be driving or flying. For those of you road-trippers, you’re going to have a long ride on your hands. According to Google Maps, Champaign to Pasadena is a little under 2,000 miles. Accoring to the NHTSA, the average mpg in the US is 24.7 and the average price for a gallon of gas is $3.00. So a one way trip to Pasadena will cost you around $243 in gas alone. The average price for a hotel in the Pasadena area is around $250 for one adult in two nights, according to Travelocity. If you want to fly, the average price for a one-way flight from Willard Airport to Burbank Airport for one adult is $500, according to Travelocity.
