Tired of studying? Want an opportunity to waste time? Looking for a holiday movie to get you in the mood? Well, here you have it. A TV guide listing all the holiday classics:

— “Cranberry Christmas,” 6:30 p.m. Monday on ABC Family. A girl and her grandmother try to save an old man’s cranberry bog in an animated special based on a book (and sponsored by Ocean Spray).

— “Santa’s Funniest Moments,” 8 p.m. Tuesday on MyNetworkTV

— “Our First Christmas,” 8 p.m. Dec. 20 on Hallmark. Dixie Carter and John Ratzenberger star.

Also note that the Hallmark Channel is stuffing this month with made-for-TV holiday movies, while ABC Family again offers “25 Days of Christmas” and Lifetime revisits “Fa-la-la-la-Lifetime.” And many great Christmas films from the past will air this month on Turner Classic Movies.

Waste Time with This

After two days of class, it’s only the lucky few of us who have homework and assignments to work on. For the rest of you, it’s just like winter break again, except now you’re living in a box and you don’t have Mommy’s cookies to stuff yourself with. To help pass the time, check out the News-Gazette’s 2007 Trivia game. It’s very comical and it can help you waste at least 10 minutes.

Hey 2007, good riddance. From the ineptitude of Gov. Blagojevich to the disappointing Cubs, Cardinals and White Sox to goofy University of Illinois leaders to the demise of the beloved Urbana turkeys, it was a sad year. If you can stomach it, here’s part of the year (the bad part, especially) in review:
